Meeting Programme

  • SUNDAY 16th
    • Arrival at Capodichino Airport (Naples)
    • Transfer to the hotel SANTA MARTA
    • Dinner at the hotel
  • MONDAY 17th
    • at 09.00 bus to Petronio school
    • Welcome coffee
    • Activity 1: Welcoming at Petronio school and meeting with the School-Principal and the school staff. All the ceremony was be videotaped by local journalists and by Petronio Magazine journalists.
    • Institute tour and presentation of the weekly program.
    • (Tours, Kahoot/Socrative/Rubistar)
    • Lunch at school at 13.00
    • at 14.30/15.00 archaeological tour in Pozzuoli and Rione Terra with an English guide. Gathering of all the information about the sites which are visited by students and teachers in order to prepare questions/answers. The didactic method is learning by doing. The students are suggested to take notes or record the information given by the guide. In this way, students practiced the English language (written and spoken).
    • Go back to hotel and dinner.
  • TUESDAY 18th
    • at around 08,30 bus to Petronio school and collect the lunch boxes.
    • Activity 2: Visit the ancient city of Pompeii and the most important landscapes of Naples all day with an English guide. Gathering of all the information about the sites which are visited by students and teachers in order to prepare questions/answers.
    • Go back to the hotel and dinner.
  • WEDNESDAY 19th
    • at around 09.00 bus to Petronio school. Arrival at school – welcome coffee
    • Activity 3 Kahoot/Socrative: all the students, shared in two labs, prepared questions about the visit to Pompeii/Pozzuoli and they will exercise. The learning methodology used was the flipped classroom
    • Lunch at school at 13.00
    • Afternoon (14.30/15.00)
    • Tour in a local winery (Cantine Mirabilis) and wine tasting.
    • Visit to Piscine Mirabilis (archaeological site). (English guide)
    • Go back to the hotel and dinner.
  • THURSDAY 20th
    • Activity 4: at around 09,30 bus to Naples, historical buildings and churches. (English guide) all the day. Gathering of all the information about the sites which are visited by students and teachers in order to prepare questions/answers.
    • Free time and Lunch
    • Go back to the hotel
    • Dinner
  • FRIDAY 21th
    • at around 09.00 bus to Petronio school. Arrival at school – welcome coffee
    • Activity 5: Discussion and presentation of the works
    • (Kahoot/Socrative/Rubistar apps) previously prepared by our students. Teachers and students will use Petronio school’s Labs.
    • At 12,30 Final manifestation. All the ceremony will be videotaped by local journalists and by Petronio Magazine journalists.
    • At 13.30 theme lunch at school (Carnival)
    • at 16.30/17.00 go back to hotel.
    • Dinner
